About the event

Growin' On Faith Farm and the Council for Healthy Food Systems hosts another free workshop in our Profiting From Conservation series. There is a stipend of $500 available to our Profiting Through Conservation attendees who:

  1. Attend four of the workshops
  2. 1 Resource Meeting
  3. Complete and return all surveys

Potential benefits of implementing a Conservation Plan on your farm include:

  • Increased $$ for the farm
  • Improved soil quality and plant production
  • Weed control
  • Improved water quality and availability for plants and animals
  • Increase property value
  • Enhanced wildlife habitat
  • Improved animal health
  • Reduced off-farm inputs

We will identify natural resources and resource concerns, discuss practices & strategies to reduce/eliminate those concerns, and explore financial assistance that is available to enhance and manage our resources.

Sandwich lunches, chips, and drinks (water and gatorade) will be provided. If you want additional drinks or food please bring your own.
