About the event

As land and feed prices rise, it is more important than ever for beef cattle producers to strive to raise beef in a sustainable way. Come to the Farmer Education & Training Center to learn about beef cattle nutrition, herd health management, vaccinations, low-stress cattle handling & more from experienced grass-fed beef cattle producers. You will take part in handling cattle, vaccinations, record keeping, & more.

We will be on a working ranch so boots and long pants are required. Long sleeve shirt, hats, sunscreen, bug spray, & folding/camping type chairs are suggested. Growin on Faith Farm will provide workshop materials, light breakfast foods/snacks, water, & Gatorade. You will be responsible to bring your lunch or get lunch and bring other drinks if you like.
